KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 17 (Bernama) -- Kabaddi Association of Malaysia (KAM) president Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim will do his best to ensure that kabaddi is included as a competition sport at Sukma 2010 in Melaka. He told Bernama that although Kabaddi was included as a demo game in the recent Sukma in Kuala Terengganu with the participation of almost all the states, the traditional sport was not in the competition sports list for the 2010 games. "I was again given the mandate unopposed as the chairman of KAM at the annual general meeting held in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday and I have promised the delegates and observers from all over the nation that Kabaddi will be listed as a competition sport at Sukma 2010 or else I will reconsider my position as KAM chairman," said Shahidan, the former Perlis Mentri Besar.
