KUALA LUMPUR, 9 Okt (Bernama) -- Kementerian Belia dan Sukan (KBS) tidak berhasrat untuk memindahkan pusat latihan berbasikal trek negara di Melbourne, Australia ke velodrom tertutup baharu yang bakal dibina di Negeri Sembilan. Menteri berkenaan Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek berkata walaupun kos keseluruhan perbelanjaan atlet berbasikal trek negara di negara Kanggaru itu mencecah RM1 juta setahun, pihaknya berkeyakinan ia masih munasabah. "Kos ini (RM1 juta setahun) saya rasakan masih lagi dalam kemampuan kita (KBS) untuk menanggungnya, jadi itu bukan alasan utama untuk kita memindahkan pusat latihan berbasikal trek negara buat masa kini," katanya kepada pemberita selepas melancarkan OCBC Cycle Malaysia 2013 di sini, pada Selasa.
