KUALA LUMPUR, March 19 (Bernama) -- The Table Tennis Association of Malaysia (TTAM) has earmarked three major international competitions for National paddlers this year. TTAM secretary Chan Foong Keong said the three competitions are Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships in New Delhi, India from May 5-10, World Table Tennis Championships in Paris, France from May 13-20 and Myanmar SEA Games in December. He told Bernama on Tuesday that eight players would head to New Delhi while three will see action in Paris. Among paddlers in the squad seasoned campaigner Beh Lee Wei, Ng Sock Khim, Mohd Shakirin Ibrahim and Chai Kian Beng, he said. Foong Keong said the National squad would undergo training at the National Sports Complex in Bukit Jalil and also head to China for a three-week training stint.
