Isu Kafa: Terserah kepada FAM




"KITA serahkan kepada budi bicara FAM".

Itu komen ringkas daripada Menteri Belia dan Sukan, Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek (gambar) ketika diminta mengulas mengenai kemelut yang menimpa Persatuan Bola Sepak Kelantan (Kafa) ekoran penggantungan daripada beraksi di Stadium Sultan Mohammad Ke-IV, lapor MUSTAPA LAKAWA.

Kelmarin, Presiden Kafa, Tan Sri Annuar Musa meminta Persatuan Bola Sepak Malaysia (FAM) menimbang semula penggantungan itu kerana ia akan menyebabkan persatuan bukan sahaja terpaksa menanggung denda daripada FAM, malah kerugian dari segi kos pengurusan dan pengangkutan.

Menurut Annuar, rusuhan yang berlaku pada 7 April lalu bukanlah kesalahan Kafa kerana kejadian tersebut berlaku di luar stadium.

Begitupun, Shabery yang turut bersimpati dengan nasib Kafa menjelaskan bahawa segala keputusan mengenai isu itu terletak di tangan FAM.

"Buat masa ini, saya tidak mahu mencampuri keputusan FAM kerana ia melibatkan dasar persatuan. Kita serahkan kepada budi bicara persatuan itu.

"Saya juga sedar akan permasalahan yang dihadapi Kafa ekoran daripada tindakan tersebut.

"Namun, kalau boleh, kita tidak mahu insiden ini (penggantungan) menemui jalan buntu dan akhirnya menyebabkan bola sepak kehilangan penyokong," jelas Shabery ketika ditemui di pejabatnya di Putrajaya semalam.

Pada insiden 7 April lalu, arena bola sepak negara tercemar apabila penonton Kelantan bertindak merusuh dengan merosakkan kenderaan termasuk dua buah kenderaan dibakar di pekarangan stadium berkenaan.

Akibat daripada insiden itu, pasukan Kelantan yang turut dikenali dengan gelaran Red Warriors tidak dibenarkan bermain di gelanggang sendiri.

Hukuman penggantungan itu sekali gus menyebabkan Kafa kerugian ribuan ringgit kerana terpaksa menanggung kos pengurusan dan pengangkutan pemain setelah pasukan tersebut terpaksa bermain di luar Kelantan.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed.
