MELAKA, May 27 (Bernama) -- Host Melaka wants five more sports to be included in the biennial Sukma Games next year.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam said the sports are bowling, taekwondo, golf, yachting and go-karting.
"The application will be made at the Sukma full council meeting to be chaired by the Youth and Sports Minister next month," he said at a zakat presentation ceremony by government agencies here today.
If agreed, the five sports will join the 18 compulsory sports to be competed at the 13th Sukma Games.
Mohd Ali said yachting was requested by Terengganu while bowling and go-karting were his personal choice.
