SHAH ALAM, Feb 23 (Bernama) -- Selangor were held to a scoreless draw by a Vietnamese club, Becamex Binh Duong in a Group F match in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) championship at the Shah Alam Stadium here Tuesday night.
Banking on three foreign players from South Africa, Brazil and Nigeria as well Brazilian born Kesley Huynh Alves, the visitors had the better of the exchanges but were let down by poor finishing.
A steady pair of hands in Selangor goalkeeper Mohd Hamsani Ahmad denied the visitors four attempts at goal in the first half.
Selangor, who are reigning FA Cup and Super League champions, came back into the game in the second half but squandered three chances.

Selangor will meet Sriwijaya F.C in Palembang, Indonesia in their second match while Becamex Binh Duong will face Victory F.C. in Maldives. Both matches will be played on March 16.
