Malaysian Pair Maintain Lead In International 420 Class After 3rd Day Action

LANGKAWI, March 25 (Bernama) -- Malaysian pair Khairunnisa Mohd Afendy and Norashikin Mohd Sayed continued their superb form to maintain their lead in the International 420 class after the third-day action at the Asian Sailing Championships in Shanwei, Guangdong, China.

Malaysian Yachting Association (MYA) general manager Mohd Afendy Abdullah in an email to Bernama said the duo have won all three races to stay in the lead after three days of action.

Wind speeds were between 18 and 20 knots Thursday while waves rose from two to three metres on a rough day at sea, he said.
