4 curi tumpuan hari terakhir


Rayzamshah Wan Sofian meraikan kemenangannya dalam acara 110m lari berpagar pada hari terakhir olahraga Sukma XIII di Stadium Hang Jebat, Melaka semalam. - BERNAMA

MELAKA - Nurul Sarah Kadir melengkapkan kecemerlangannya pada Sukan Malaysia (Sukma) XIII apabila merangkul emas ketiga dalam 200 meter wanita, namun tumpuan hari terakhir olahraga semalam pastinya kepada Melinda Kaur yang memecah rekod kebangsaan.


Turut mencuri tumpuan di Stadium Hang Jebat, Rahila Othman dan atlet tuan rumah, J. Khartik yang masing-masing meraih emas bersama mencipta rekod baru temasya.


Nurul Sarah yang masih segar dengan gelaran Ratu Pecut Sukma selepas menjuarai acara 100m, menambah koleksi emas peribadi apabila menjuarai acara 200m dengan masa 24.68s. Kelmarin, dia membantu Melaka menjuarai acara 4x100m.


Terdahulu, atlet Pulau Pinang, Melinda menutup tirai olahraga dengan rekod 3,000m lari berhalangan kebangsaan menerusi 10:55.31s, memadam rekod lama, 11:04.14s.
Atlet Johor, Rahila pula memperbaiki rekod temasya dalam lontar peluru wanita - 13.93 meter. Rekod lama, 12.74m milik Asrenny Asik dari Sabah.


Karthik membanggakan tuan rumah dalam acara 3,000m lari berhalangan lelaki apabila mencatat rekod baru temasya, 9.20.25s, mengatasi catatan lama, 9:24.06s milik S. Vikkram dari Perak pada 2006.
Emas 200m lelaki pula milik Ahmad Fakhri Ismail dari Kelantan dengan masa 1.64s.


Pemenang pingat emas Sukan SEA 2007, Rayzamshah Sofian dari Sabah membuktikan kejaguhannya dalam 110m lari berpagar lelaki dengan muncul juara menerusi 14.25s.
Acara 100m lari berpagar wanita milik pelari Selangor, Raja Nursheena Raja Jaafar meraih emas dengan kepantasan, 14.32s.


Sehari sebelum melabuhkan tirai, Terengganu unggul mengatasi negeri lain dalam pungutan pingat emas keseluruhan selepas mengumpul 42 emas, meninggalkan Wilayah Persekutuan kedua (40), diikuti Selangor (35), Kedah (34) dan Johor (33).

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
