KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 (Bernama) -- Medals were still elusive for the national paralympic team despite the International Powerlifting Championships entering its fourth day at the Titiwangsa Stadium here Wednesday.
The team's coach Jamil Adam said overall he was satisfied with the national powerlifters performance as they were up against the best in the world.
"Nervousness also gets the better of them in a championship at this level. This is something we will work on with the help of the National Sports Institute," he told Bernama.

Siow Lee Chan, Malaysia's best medal hope today, failed to shine in the women's 67.5kg and below category, managing only fourth place with a lift of 100kg.
The gold in the event was won by Amany Ali of Egypt who lifted 117.5kg while Arawan Bootpo of Thailand had to settle for the silver when she only managed 110kg. Wang Zhiping of China lifted 105kg for the bronze.
