Tiket Sukan Asia Di Guangzhou Mula Dijual Oktober Ini

SINGAPURA, 24 Ogos (Bernama) -- Sejumlah tiga juta tiket untuk menyaksikan Kejohanan Sukan Asia di Guangzhou, China yang dijadual berlangsung mulai 12 Nov hingga 27 Nov depan, akan dijual kepada umum Oktober ini.

Tiket-tiket itu berharga antara 10 yuan dan 400 yuan, atau 88 yuan secara purata, bagi membolehkan peminat sukan menyaksikan sejumlah 42 acara yang dipertandingkan pada kejohanan itu, kata anggota jawatankuasa penganjur sukan tersebut, Ji Lei pada sidang akhbar di sini pada Selasa.

Beliau berkata edisi di Guangzhou tahun ini juga menyaksikan bilangan peserta paling ramai menyertai termasuk 28 acara Olimpik dan 14 acara bukan Olimpik, selain bakal mencatat sejarah sebagai Sukan Asia terbesar pernah dianjurkan.

Kira-kira 12,000 atlet dan pegawai pasukan, 6,500 pegawai teknikal, 10,000 wartawan serta lebih 2,000 anggota Majlis Olimpik Asia dari 45 negara, dijangka memeriahkan sukan tersebut.

Jawatankuasa penganjur Sukan Asia Guangzhou kini berada di sini dan mengambil kesempatan mengumumkan persediaan dan promosi sukan itu ketika temasya Sukan Olimpik Belia sedang berlangsung.

Ji juga berkata persediaan asas Sukan Asia yang mengambil masa hampir enam tahun, kini telah siap sepenuhnya dan mereka kini di peringkat akhir dalam menyiapkan 70 venue sukan di Guangzhou dan bandar lain termasuk Foshan, Dongguan dan Shanwei, yang dijangka siap bulan depan.

Beliau berkata empat sukan utama iaitu sukan tarian, perahu naga, sukan ekstrem dan kriket, selain dua permainan papan kuno Cina iaitu Weiqi serta Xiangqi, akan dipertandingkan buat pertama kalinya pada temasya Sukan Asia itu.

Selain itu, atlet wanita juga buat pertama kalinya berpeluang mengambil bahagian dalam acara gusti, Kabbadi, polo air, kriket, sukan ekstrem, perahu naga, Weiqi dan Xiangqi, yang dipertandingkan untuk kesaksamaan gender, katanya.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed.
