AFTER a "positive" meeting on Wednesday, BA of Malaysia (BAM) president Datuk Seri Nadzmi Salleh is confident Misbun Sidek will seriously consider resuming his post as the national singles coach.
Nadzmi said Misbun gave a positive response during their meeting and he realised that his presence was necessary in order to help Lee Chong Wei become Malaysia's first ever Olympic gold medallist in London next year.
Nadzmi said he listened to Misbun's grouses and was looking forward to seeing the episode end on a good note.
"I have met Misbun and we both agreed that Chong Wei is our best ever chance to win a gold in the Olympics and Misbun must seriously consider returning as the national singles coach.
"I have also stated that BAM will not change the structure for one person and he (Misbun) respects the structure."
Nadzmi said Misbun will also be meeting with BAM secretary Ng Chin Chai and general manager Kenny Goh to settle the misunderstanding surrounding his abrupt decision to resign.
