TM jayakan 'Team Malaysia'

KUALA LUMPUR - Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) menandatangani perjanjian dengan Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN) dan Majlis Olimpik Malaysia (MOM) bagi melaksanakan kempen sukan yang unik yang dikenali 'Team Malaysia'.

Di bawah kempen tersebut, TM diberi hak eksklusif menjual jersi belang hitam kuning atau Panthera yang lazimnya dikhaskan untuk atlet negara sahaja.

Kini orang ramai boleh membeli jersi tersebut dan memakainya sewaktu menyaksikan atlet negara beraksi pada sesuatu kejohanan.

Jersi tersebut boleh dibeli di premis TM Point yang terpilih serta siri Jelajah TM pada harga RM79.90 sehelai dan harga istimewa menerusi belian secara online RM69.90.

Di bawah perjanjian itu juga TM bertanggungjawab memasarkan dan promosi cenderamata barangan yang mempunyai logo MSN dan MOM.

Menteri Belia dan Sukan, Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek berkata, kempen seperti ini bukan sahaja menaikkan semangat atlet negara sebaliknya menyatukan rakyat.

"Kempen ini khususnya penjualan jersi Panthera untuk orang ramai memang idea yang kreatif, objektif TM tidak lain untuk menyatukan talian persahabatan selain daripada talian komunikasi," katanya pada pelancaran Team Malaysia di sini, semalam.

Jelas Ahmad Shabery, kempen tersebut dapat menghimpunkan sokongan peminat sukan Malaysia buat semua atlet negara tanpa mengira lapisan masyarakat.

"TM sebenarnya membawa dua maksud iaitu Telekom Malaysia tetapi juga Team Malaysia.
"TM juga membantu atlet negara dari sudut kewangan dan pengenalan Team Malaysia ini adalah satu modal yang baik," katanya.

Govt Always Gives Emphasis To Sporting Culture, Says PM

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
