Tuanku Mizan menyerlah

YANG Dipertuan Agong, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin bersama anakandanya, Tengku Muhammad Ismail dan Mohd Sulaiman Muda meraih tempat ketiga acara berpasukan dalam Kejohanan Malaysia-Thailand Open Endurance Challenge Trophy 2011 yang berlangsung di Terenggganu International Endurance Park (TIEP), Lembah Bidong, Setiu, Terengganu, awal pagi semalam.
Tuanku Mizan yang menunggang kuda bernama Smit mencatat masa 4 jam 19 minit 49 saat, Tengku Muhammad Ismail (4 jam 19 minit 50 saat) dan Mohd Sulaiman (4 jam 56 minit 43 saat) selaku wakil pasukan Royal Terengganu Endurance Stable (RTES) menewaskan 13 pasukan lain untuk memenangi tempat ketiga acara berpasukan.

Juara berpasukan disandang pasukan The Horses dari Thailand diwakili oleh Wipawan Pawitayalarp, Warit Khuntarhporn dan Prutirat Ratanakul Serireongrith meraih hadiah wang tunai AS$2,000 (RM6,071) bersama trofi kejohanan.
Wipawan mencatat masa 4 jam 3 minit 3 saat, Warit (4 jam 3 minit 4 saat) dan Prutirat Ratanakul (4 jam 3 minit 26 saat).

Manakala pasukan State Of Terengganu Endurance Team (STET) yang diwakili Datuk Abdullah Taib (4 jam 18 minit 25 saat), Mohd Kharul Abidin Mohd Nasir (4 jam 19 minit 24 saat) dan Md Firdaus Hamid (4 jam 34 minit 46 saat) menduduki tempat kedua.

Juara acara individu disandang peguam dari Terengganu, Wan Mohd Kamaluddin Wan Yusof dengan masa 4 jam 2 minit 50 saat untuk meraih hadiah wang tunai AS$1,000 (RM3,035) bersama trofi.

Sementara itu, Wan Mohd Kamaluddin mencatat purata kelajuan 19.77 kilometer sejam menewaskan 53 peserta lain.

Menteri Besar Terengganu, Datuk Seri Ahmad Said menyampaikan hadiah kepada pemenang dalam majlis perasmian Sultan Mizan Cup 2011 di Terrapuri Heritage Village, Kampung Mangkuk, Setiu, Terengganu.

Wan Mohd Kamaluddin, 39, berasal dari Besut, Terengganu bersyukur kerana berjaya memenangi acara individu.

“Ini kemenangan kali ketiga tahun ini selepas berjaya melakukannya di Johor dan Terengganu,” katanya.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
