"SINGAPURA tak hebat. Ayuh serang dan robohkan kubu mereka. Pertahanan mereka longgar.ā€ Itulah firasat positif bekas pemain tonggak negara, Razip Ismail menjelang pertembungan Malaysia menentang Singapura dalam perlawanan kedua, pusingan kedua kelayakan Piala Dunia 2014, Khamis ini.

Dia percaya jika skuad Harimau Malaya boleh meledak tiga gol di gelanggang lawan, Sabtu lalu mereka mampu gegar lagi gawang Singa di Stadium Nasional, Bukit Jalil nanti.

Jeritan patriotik penyokong tanah air sudah mula kedengaran yang kini amat yakin betapa anak didik Datuk K Rajagobal ada ramuan bangkit bak wira di gelanggang sendiri dan layak ke pusingan ketiga.

Menteri Belia dan Sukan, Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek juga turut bergandingan dalam menyalakan semangat perjuangan skuad negara untuk membalas dendam.

ā€œJika semangat sama dapat ditunjukkan ketika menewaskan Taiwan (pusingan pertama) saya amat yakin kita boleh menang 2-0 atau 3-1 atau 4-2 ke atas Singapura.

Penyokong kita boleh menjadi faktor pembantu menggapai impian, Khamis ini,ā€ katanya, semalam.

KUALA TERENGGANU, May 29 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badaw i said the government always gives emphasis on cultivating a strong sporting culture in achieving excellence at the international level.
