TPM ke Stadium Nasional

KUALA LUMPUR - Anak-anak buah K. Rajagobal sudah melupakan kenangan pahit di Singapura dan mereka menjanjikan persembahan terbaik pada perlawanan kedua menentang Singapura pada pusingan kelayakan Piala Dunia 2014 di Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil, hari ini.

Pengurus Harimau Malaya, Datuk Subahan Kamal berkata, sejak pulang dari Kota Singa, semangat pemain begitu tinggi untuk menebus kesilapan mereka ketika beraksi pada pertemuan pertama hujung minggu lalu.
"Mereka sedar kesilapan yang dilakukan ketika bermain di Singapura tempoh hari, malah para pemain telah berikrar untuk memberikan aksi terbaik esok (hari ini), lebih-lebih lagi kita beraksi di depan 85,000 penyokong tempatan," katanya ketika dihubungi Utusan Malaysia di sini, semalam.

Menurut Subahan, selain sokongan daripada penyokong Malaysia, aksi skuad kebangsaan, hari ini akan turut disaksikan oleh Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
"Saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada pucuk pimpinan negara yang sentiasa memberikan sokongan buat para pemain," ujarnya.

Jelasnya, ketinggalan dua gol di belakang bukan satu perkara mustahil buat Harimau Malaya yang pernah berhadapan situasi sama sebelum ini.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
