KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 29 (Bernama) -- The venue for the 5th circuit of the national cycling grand prix (GP) scheduled for next month has been changed from Sabah to Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysian National Cycling Federation vice president Datuk Naim Mohamad told reporters here today that the change was made to accommodate the OCBC Cycle Malaysia meet which would be held from Oct 14 to 16.
Meanwhile, OCBC Cycle Malaysia event promoter, Spectrum Worldwide is expecting a total of 3,000 participants at the inaugural event.
"The event will bring together riders of all ages and cycling experience. Having the top Malaysian cyclists blazing through the streets of Kuala Lumpur is an incredibly thrilling prospect and a fantastic addition to the OCBC Cycle Malaysia programme," said Commercial Director, Angus Gordon.
