'Jangan benci saya'

KUALA LUMPUR - Gembira dalam sedih. Itu perasaan penyerang Negeri Sembilan, Hairuddin Omar atau Hai-O ketika memberikan kemenangan 2-1 kepada pasukannya pada perlawanan akhir Piala Malaysia 2011 menentang Terengganu di Stadium Shah Alam, kelmarin.

Ini kerana dia gembira memberikan kemenangan buat pasukan yang diwakilinya ketika ini, namun dalam masa yang sama memahami kekecewaan penyokong negeri kelahirannya, Terengganu.
Ekoran itu, dia meminta penyokong skuad Penyu tidak membencinya kerana menjadi penyebab kekalahan Terengganu hasil jaringannya pada minit ke-86.
"Saya mohon maaf kepada semua penyokong Terengganu pada perlawanan hari ini (kelmarin) dan saya harap sangat agar mereka tidak membenci saya.
"Negeri Sembilan adalah majikan yang membayar gaji saya serta Terengganu adalah negeri asal saya. Saya terpaksa memberikan yang terbaik buat majikan saya untuk mendapatkan kemenangan ini," kata Hairuddin.
Sementara itu ditanya mengenai kontraknya bersama Negeri Sembilan akan tamat bulan depan, Hairuddin berkata dia masih belum pasti berhubung masa depannya.
"Tahun depan saya akan terus bermain cuma saya masih belum tahu hala tuju saya selepas kontrak tamat.
"Sama ada kekal atau berpindah, itu semua saya akan fikirkan selepas ini," jelasnya

Govt Always Gives Emphasis To Sporting Culture, Says PM

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed.
