PM temui pemain golf CIMB Asia Pacific Classic


Najib Tun Razak berbual dengan Vijay Singh ketika sesi bertemu pemain yang akan mengambil bahagian pada Kejohanan Golf CIMB Asia Pacific Classic di Kelab Golf The Mines, Seri Kembangan, semalam.

KUALA LUMPUR - Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak semalam hadir di Kelab Golf The Mines untuk bertemu dengan beberapa pemain golf profesional yang menyertai Kejohanan Golf CIMB Asia Pacific Classic.

Antara pemain yang ditemui oleh Perdana Menteri ketika sesi latihan ialah pemain golf terkemuka Fiji, Vijay Singh yang kini menduduki tangga ke-58 dunia.

Selain itu Perdana Menteri sempat menemui juara bertahan, Ben Crane yang kini berada pada kedudukan ke-50 dunia.

Perdana Menteri turut berkesempatan bertemu dan memberi kata-kata semangat kepada pemain golf negara, Mohd. Shaaban Hussin bagi menghadapi saingan hebat dalam kejohanan yang cukup berprestij itu.

Selain Mohd. Shaaban, Malaysia turut diwakili oleh pemain golf No. 1 negara, Danny Chia.
Perdana Menteri kemudian hadir di dalam majlis makan tengah hari sebelum pulang.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
