Wan Nin terpaksa lupakan saingan Olimpik 2012

IBARAT sudah jatuh ditimpa tangga. Perumpamaan itu menghantui Persekutuan Gimnastik Malaysia (MGF) yang dihimpit isu kecederaan selepas seorang lagi gimnasnya, Lee Wan Nin mungkin gagal menyertai saingan ujian temasya Olimpik di London, Januari depan.

Dengan baki sebulan saja lagi, mustahil buat Wan Nin yang mengalami kecederaan serius dua hari sebelum temasya Sukan Sea Indonesia lalu akan pulih sekelip mata.

Wan Nin, 16, yang menjadi prospek emas negara terpaksa melupakan impian beraksi di Sukan Sea selepas tempurung lututnya terkeluar ketika menjalani latihan di Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN).
Kini dia kemungkinan besar terpaksa melupakan saja saingan Olimpik 2012.

“Saya tidak pasti tahap kecederaan ini, pastinya ia makin pulih tapi peluang menyertai saingan ujian ke Olimpik yang turut diadakan di London samar.

“Kecederaan ini serius dan kesakitan yang saya alami tidak mampu dibayangkan. Kini, saya direhatkan tapi tidak pasti berapa lama.



“Minggu depan saya akan menjalani pemeriksaan susulan, mungkin selepas itu saya akan diberi bayangan nasib sepanjang tahun depan,” katanya kesal.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
