Piala FA: Elfatah Safi Akan Diturunkan Menentang Kelantan Malam Selasa

ALOR SETAR, 30 April (Bernama) -- Pemain import Kedah Abd Elfatah Safi yang baru pulih dari kecederaan akan diturunkan dalam kesebelasan utama menentang Kelantan pada saingan separuh akhir kedua Piala FA di Stadium Darul Aman, malam Selasa.

Jurulatih Kedah Wan Jamak Wan Hassan berkata pada sesi akhir latihan yang diadakan pagi tadi menunjukkan Safi cergas sepenuhnya dan dapat melakukan latihan penuh bersama pemain lain.

Beliau berkata kehadiran Safi diharap dapat mencorakkan sesuatu bagi membolehkan Kedah menjaringkan seberapa banyak gol dalam usaha memburu tempat ke peringkat akhir.

"Pemain pertahanan, V. Thirumurugan yang mengalami kecederaan sebelum ini juga telah pulih dan mungkin akan diturunkan bagi membantu menguatkan pertahanan Kedah daripada dibolosi," katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama di sini pada Isnin.

Safi sebelum ini tidak diturunkan oleh Wan Jamak menentang Kelantan pada suku ahkir pertama Piala FA di Kelantan 21 April lepas akibat mengalami kecederaan menyaksikan Kedah sekadar terikat 1-1 dengan Kelantan.

Govt Always Gives Emphasis To Sporting Culture, Says PM

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed.
