ISN To Ensure All Systems Go For Suryani's Delivery

KUALA LUMPUR, June 28 (Bernama) -- The National Sports Institute (ISN) will the Malaysian High Commission's assistance in London to make the necessary arrangements for shooter Nur Suryani Mohd Taibi's delivery, in the event she gives birth during the London Olympics.

ISN Chief Executive Officer Datuk Dr Ramlan Abdul Aziz said the preparations was necessary to ensure Nur Suryani would not encounter any complications during her delivery.

"ISN has sought the help of the Malaysian High Commissioner to identify a suitable hospital that is close to the venue of the shooting competition," he told Bernama during an interview.

Dr Ramlan said ISN's priority was to ensure the safety of Nur Suryani and her child (if born during the Olympics), adding that that before her departure to London on July 22, she would be referred to two gynecologist.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
