Fatin, who won the team and individual all around gold medals in the 4th Asean School Games in Surabaya earlier this month, is glad that she managed to make amends for her poor performance on the first day.

“I was a bit disappointed to finish second behind Qing Tong, so I really wanted to improve my performance for the gold medal,” said the 15-year-old Fatin.

“I performed my routines better, especially in my pet event – the clubs. But it’s still not perfect and I hope to do better in the individual apparatus round.

“I guess it will be tougher. Qing Tong will definitely be my biggest threat.”

"Maybe his (Rajagobal) assessment and comments of the match was misconstrued by the media. There was no mention of the FAM policy throughout his comments," said Taufik after emerging from a three-hour Disciplinary Committee meeting at Wisma FAM in Kelana Jaya, here, Wednesday.
