KL tuan rumah Sidang IOC 2015

LONDON - Kuala Lumpur akan menjadi tuan rumah Persidangan IOC Ke-127 pada 2015, kata Menteri Belia dan Sukan Malaysia Datuk Seri Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek semalam.

Menurutnya, keputusan tersebut dicapai selepas dipersetujui sebulat suara dalam sidang IOC Ke-124 di London semalam.

"Keputusan dibuat selepas semua anggota IOC berpuas hati dengan pembentangan mengenai keupayaan Kuala Lumpur menjadi tuan rumah," katanya dalam kenyataan semalam.

Shabery berkata, selain beliau, pembentangan telah disampaikan oleh Presiden Majlis Olimpik Malaysia, Tan Sri Tengku Imran Tuanku Jaafar.

Persidengan dipengerusikan oleh Presiden IOC J. Rogge.
