Malaysia Whip Laos 4-1 To Revive Aff Suzuki Cup Hopes

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 28 (Bernama) -- Malaysia scored an emphatic 4-1 victory over Laos in a Group B AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 match at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Wednesday night.

Both teams were tied 1-1 at half time.

Scorers:

Malaysia: Safiq Rahim (15th min), Mohd Safee Mohd Sali (67th min), Wan Zack Haikal Wan Nor (75th min), Mohd Khyrill Muhymeen Zambri (79th min)

Laos: Khonesavanh Sihavong (39th min).

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
