RTM Penyiar Rasmi Perlawanan Piala AFF Suzuki 2012

KUALA LUMPUR, 22 Nov (Bernama) -- Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) menjadi penyiar rasmi perlawanan Piala AFF Suzuki 2012 yang akan berlangsung di Malaysia dan Thailand, selaku tuan rumah bersama kejohanan itu, bermula Sabtu ini sehingga 24 Dis.

Ketua Pengarah Penyiaran Datuk Norhyati Ismail berkata perlawanan pertama Kumpulan A antara Thailand dan Filipina pada Sabtu ini, akan disiarkan secara langsung pada 9 malam di TV1 manakala siaran tertunda Vietnam menentang Myanmar pada 1 pagi, 25 Nov.

"RTM mendapat hak menyiarkan perlawanan Piala AFF Suzuki 2012, kita menjanjikan sukan yang terbaik itu adalah daripada RTM dan menjadi harapan kami untuk menyampaikan informasi yang terbaik dalam arena sukan.

"Kita mengambil inisiatif ini untuk memberi suntikan semangat berterusan kepada skuad kebangsaan meraih kejayaan dalam setiap perlawanan sehingga mereka layak ke perlawanan akhir," katanya kepada pemberita pada majlis perasmian RTM sebagai penyiar rasmi Piala AFF Suzuki 2012 di Angkasapuri di sini Khamis.

Turut hadir Naib Presiden Persatuan Bolasepak Malaysia (FAM) Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin dan Setiausaha Agung FAM Datuk Azzudin Ahmad.

Govt Always Gives Emphasis To Sporting Culture, Says PM

KUALA TERENGGANU, May 29 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badaw i said the government always gives emphasis on cultivating a strong sporting culture in achieving excellence at the international level. Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
