Thailand Tempah Tiket Ke Separuh Akhir Piala AFF Suzuki 2012

KUALA LUMPUR, 28 Nov (Bernama) -- Juara tiga kali Thailand menjadi pasukan pertama menempah tiket ke separuh akhir Piala AFF Suzuki 2012 selepas membelasah Myanmar 4-0 pada perlawanan kedua Kumpulan A di Stadium Rajamangala, Bangkok, Thailand Selasa malam.

Kemenangan kedua berturut-turut itu membolehkan Thailand selaku juara 1996, 2000 dan 2002 mengumpul enam mata keseluruhan untuk menerajui Kumpulan A.

Terdahulu dalam kumpulan yang sama, Filipina yang sebelum ini kalah 1-2 kepada Thailand pada perlawanan pembukaan Sabtu lepas kembali menghidupkan peluang ke separuh akhir selepas mencatat kemenangan tipis 1-0 ke atas Vietnam.

Thailand bakal menamatkan aksi Kumpulan A bertemu Vietnam manakala Filipina akan bertemu Myanmar Jumaat ini.

Perlawanan Thailand menentang Vietnam akan berlangsung di Stadium Rajamangala, Bangkok manakala perlawanan melibatkan Vietnam dan Filipina akan berlangsung di Stadium Muang Thong, Bangkok.
