Paulus Mula Tugas Latih Pasangan Beregu Negara Jumaat Ini

KUALA LUMPUR, 29 Jan (Bernama) -- Bekas jurulatih beregu wanita Indonesia, Paulus Firman yang mula melapor diri di pejabat Persatuan Badminton Malaysia (BAM) Selasa, akan memulakan tugasannya membimbing pasangan beregu negara Jumaat ini.

Dalam mesyuarat dengan ketua jurulatih beregu negara, Tan Kim Her hari ini, Paulus ditugaskan melatih beregu utama negara, Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong, Hoon Thein How-Tan Wee Kiong serta Lutfi Zaim Abdul Khalid-Tan Wee Gieen.

"Ini merupakan tanggungjawab besar apabila diberi kepercayaan oleh Persatuan Badminton Malaysia untuk melatih pasukan Malaysia dan saya harap prestasi saya juga baik di sini.

"Ia satu cabaran baharu bagi saya untuk bekerjasama dengan pemain Malaysia dalam meningkatkan prestasi mereka," kata Paulus ketika ditemui pemberita di pejabat BAM di sini, hari ini.

Paulus ditawarkan kontrak dua tahun selaku jurulatih beregu negara dan kehadirannya bagi mengisi kekosongan ditinggalkan Pang Cheh Chang yang dilantik sebagai ketua jurulatih beregu remaja negara di Sekolah Sukan Bukit Jalil (SSBJ).

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
