Moto2: Hafizh Syahrin Kecewa Di Argentina

KUALA LUMPUR, 28 April (Bernama) -- Pelumba Moto2 negara Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah gagal mengutip mata pada perlumbaan Grand Prix Argentina (MotoGP) di Litar Termes de Rio Hondo.

Hafizh yang juga merupakan pelumba Petronas Raceline Malaysia sekadar meraih kedudukan ke-20 dengan catatan masa 40 minit 49.717 saat.

Pelumba Sepanyol Esteve Rabat dari Marc VDS Racing Team meraih kemenangan keduanya musim ini dengan masa terpantas 40:06.114s manakala Xavier Simeon dari Federal Oil Gresine Moto2 dan Luis Salom dari Pons HP 40 melengkapkan kedudukan tiga pelumba terbaik setelah masing-masing melakukan catatan masa 40:08.208s dan 40:09.816s.

"Saya memulakan perlumbaan dengan baik dan berada dalam kedudukan yang selesa. Malangnya saya berdepan masalah pengendalian jentera sebaik masuk pusingan kedua.

"Saya tetap berusaha untuk mengekalkan kedudukan dalam kedudukan mata tetapi usaha saya tidak menjadi. Saya minta maaf kepada semua kerana tidak dapat melakukan yang terbaik di Argentina," katanya.

Hafizh berkata sekarang pasukannya perlu memberi tumpuan kepada pusingan seterusnya di Jerez, Sepanyol.
