PKBM Akan Dipanggil Beri Keterangan Pada 20 Mei - Ahmad Sarji

KUALA LUMPUR, 29 April (Bernama) -- Panel Penasihat Sukan akan memanggil wakil dari Persekutuan Kebangsaan Berbasikal Malaysia (PKBM) pada 20 Mei ini untuk mendapatkan maklum balas mengenai beberapa perkara berkaitan laporan audit dalaman Kementerian Belia dan Sukan.

Pengerusinya Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid berkata penjelasan itu melibatkan perkara yang penting sebelum panel penasihat membuat syor untuk pertimbangan Menteri Belia dan Sukan Khairy Jamaluddin.

"Untuk memberi keadilan kepada PKBM, maka panel (Panel Penasihat Sukan) akan menemui wakil-wakil PKBM di mesyuarat yang akan datang pada 20 Mei untuk beri mereka (PKBM) peluang menjawab beberapa soalan yang kami akan kemukakan," katanya kepada pemberita selepas mempengerusikan mesyuarat panel itu di Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN) di sini Selasa.

Katanya siasatan panel penasihat itu tidak mengabaikan satu perkara pun malah mengambil kira semua aspek dalam laporan audit dalaman kementerian.

"Kita akan jumpa PKBM dulu sebelum menggubal nasihat untuk pertimbangan menteri," katanya.

Audit dalaman dilakukan ke atas persatuan itu berikutan ada aduan khusus berkaitan program berbasikal lebuh raya negara dan laporan perbelanjaan persatuan itu yang didapati terlalu umum.

PKBM dilapor menerima peruntukan antara RM1.7 juta dan RM2.95 juta daripada KBS untuk program berbasikal lebuh raya sejak 2011.
