‘Saya tak tahu apa-apa’


Kuala Lumpur: Keputusan untuk melantik Dollah Salleh sebagai ketua jurulatih kebangsaan sudah diumumkan Persatuan Bolasepak Malaysia (FAM) kelmarin namun pengendali Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) itu mengakui masih belum menerima sebarang tawaran rasmi.

“Saya tidak tahu apa-apa. Saya hanya mengetahui ditawarkan kontrak dua tahun menerusi laporan akhbar hari ini (semalam). Saya tidak boleh ulas lanjut mengenai perkara ini,” katanya semalam.

Kenyataan bekas penyerang kebangsaan berusia 50 tahun itu mengundang persoalan mengenai tindakan FAM yang membuat pengumuman rasmi mengenai pemilihan pengendali baru Harimau Malaya itu sedangkan tanpa pengetahuan beliau sendiri.

Pemilihan Dollah itu dibuat menerusi perbincangan dalam Mesyuarat Exco FAM kelmarin yang dipengerusikan sendiri presiden baru Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.

Pengalaman Dollah sebagai pemain dan jurulatih yang membawa PDRM menjuarai Liga Perdana musim ini menjadi alasan badan induk itu melantiknya untuk membimbing skuad kebangsaan selepas kontrak Datuk K Rajagobal tamat pada 31 Disember lalu.

Keputusan itu menyaksikan pengendali kelahiran Melaka itu mengetepikan dua calon import dari Jerman Wolfgang Sidka dan Gert Engels serta jurulatih sementara skuad kebangsaan Datuk Ong Kim Swee.
Namun semuanya masih belum pasti memandangkan Dollah pernah menolak tawaran FAM sebanyak tiga kali sebelum ini manakala kontraknya bersama PDRM bakal berakhir November ini.

“Saya tidak boleh membuat sebarang komen, saya masih ada lagi kontrak bersama PDRM sehingga hujung tahun ini,” kata Dollah.

FAM pada sidang media selepas mesyuarat itu kelmarin menyatakan mereka akan mengadakan perbincangan dengan Dollah dalam masa terdekat ini untuk memuktamadkan soal kontrak.
