MHC berdepan dibatal pendaftaran






KUALA LUMPUR – Konfederasi Hoki Malaysia (MHC) mungkin dibatalkan pendaftaran andai ingkar de­ngan nasihat Pejabat Pesuruhjaya Sukan berhubung perlembagaan yang wajar diikuti dalam menjalankan pemilihan Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan (AGM).

Pesuruhjaya Sukan, Datuk Zaiton Othman menegaskan, beliau akan melaksanakan tindakan tersebut jika pihaknya menerima aduan berhubung pelanggaran akta dalam perlembagaan badan sukan ber­kenaan.

Katanya, sekiranya sesuatu AGM mahu dijalankan pihak persatuan mesti mengeluarkan notis 21 hari terlebih dahulu, manakala sekiranya sesuatu Mesyuarat Agung Luar Biasa (EGM) mahu dipanggil maka notis 14 hari perlu dikeluarkan.

“Semua ini melibatkan peraturan dan saya menasihatkan MHC agar mengikut peraturan kerana kita tidak mahu timbul sebarang masalah kemudian hari.

“Sekiranya timbul masalah hingga wujud bantahan dan laporan dibuat kepada pihak kami maka tindakan akan kami ambil. Tindakan yang boleh kami ambil adalah pembatalan (MHC),” katanya kepada pemberita selepas majlis pengenalan Modul Sukan Baharu, di sini semalam.

Sementara itu, ditanya berhubung niat Naib Presiden Kanan MHC, Datuk Nur Azmi Ahmad yang mahu mengambil tindakan undang-undang ke atas Pesuruhjaya Sukan jika gagal memberikan penjelasan munasabah, Zaiton berkata: “Saya tidak takut dengan niat beliau kerana saya akan memberikan penjelasan yang amat munasabah nanti.

“Lagi pun tiada kes untuk beliau mengambil tindakan undang-undang ke atas saya kerana semuanya melibatkan fakta.”

Govt Always Gives Emphasis To Sporting Culture, Says PM

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed.
