FAM Rancang Sistem Pengadil Semi Profesional Mulai Tahun Depan

KUANTAN, 23 Mac (Bernama) -- Persatuan Bola Sepak Malaysia (FAM) merancang untuk memperkenalkan sistem pengadil semi profesional tahun depan bagi menarik golongan muda menjadi bidang itu sebagai satu kerjaya.

Presidennya, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah berkata satu kertas kerja lengkap akan dibuat dengan mendapat pandangan Persekutuan Bola Sepak Antarabangsa (FIFA) sebelum melaksanakan sistem itu.

"Seperti mana kerjaya pemain bola sepak yang semakin mendapat perhatian, kita juga ingin mewujudkan atmosfera sebegini dalam dunia pengadilan," katanya kepada pemberita selepas merasmikan Seminar Pengadil Bola Sepak FAM-FIFA di sini, hari ini.

Seminar empat hari, yang disertai oleh 50 pengadil, turut dihadiri Ketua Pengadil FIFA, Massimo Busacca dan Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pengadil FAM, Goh Ah Chai.

Tengku Abdullah berharap menerusi sistem pengadil semi profesional itu, banyak pengadil dari negara ini dapat mengadili perlawanan di peringkat antarabangsa termasuk Piala Dunia FIFA 2018 di Rusia.

Sementara itu, Massimo turut mengharapkan masyarakat akan menghormati kerjaya pengadil kerana tiada manusia yang sempurna daripada melakukan kesilapan.

"Tidak siapa yang tidak pernah lakukan kesilapan, namun ia perlu dikurangkan dan memperbaiki kelemahan yang ada," katanya.

Beliau berkata FIFA turut mengharapkan pengadil dari Asia dapat meningkatkan tahap pencapaian mutu pengadilan dengan lebih baik.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
