TMJ cabar ‘si pengecut’ berundur



JOHOR BAHRU - Presiden persatuan bola sepak di negara ini dicabar untuk tidak bersikap pengecut sebaliknya menjadi berani atau berundur sekiranya tidak memahami tanggungjawab yang digalas.

Gesaan itu dibuat oleh Presiden Persatuan Bola Sepak Negeri Johor (PBNJ), Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim kerana menyifatkan seseorang presiden persatuan bola sepak perlu menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam sukan itu.

Menurut Tunku Mahkota Johor, seseorang presiden persatuan bola sepak tidak sewajarnya hanya go­yang kaki dan meraih popula­riti tanpa berani menyuarakan apa yang perlu seperti dalam soal pembahagian honorarium penyiaran televisyen.

“Kenapa saya seorang sahaja yang bersuara pasal hal itu seolah-olah saya menegakkan untuk semua pasukan yang bertanding dalam negara, saya tidak jumpa presiden lain kecuali saya yang berbuat demikian.

“Anda perlu faham hak penyiaran akan membantu semua pasukan yang bertanding dalam negara de­ngan mengurangkan beban dari segi kewangan semua pasukan yang berentap dalam liga, kenapa presiden lain senyap sahaja.

“Adakah anda semua lebih berminat dengan jawatan sahaja,” katanya kepada pemberita dalam sidang akhbar di Stadium Tan Sri Hassan Yunos, di sini semalam.

Beliau berkata, negara lain me­nyalurkan agihan honorarium penyiaran televisyen sebanyak 70 peratus kepada pasukan atau kelab yang bertanding dan 30 peratus kepada badan induk bola sepak, namun FAM pula berbuat sebaliknya.

Justeru, Tunku Ismail menyeru semua presiden persatuan negeri lain supaya bangkit dan memperjuangkan perkara itu dan jika mereka tidak memahami apa yang sedang dilakukan mereka seharusnya meletakkan jawatan.

“Bangun dan jalankan tugas de­ngan penuh integriti dan saya sendiri juga sangat telus dengan para penyokong, yang mana mereka berhak bertanya ke mana wang persa­tuan telah disalurkan selain misi dan arah tuju pasukan.

“Jadi, saya juga menyeru semua penyokong dalam negara supaya mula bertanya kepada presiden persatuan masing-masing mengenai perkara membabitkan perjalanan persatuan seperti yang saya lakukan,” katanya.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
