MOM tak resah jumlah atlit layak ke Beijing Oleh Lukman Salleh SUKAN Olimpik 2008 di Beijing hanya tinggal 167 hari dan angka atlit Malaysia yang layak ketika ini cuma 13 � satu bilangan yang cukup kecil tetapi Majlis Olimpik Malaysia (MOM) pantas menepis keresahan bahawa ia bukan senario yang cukup membanggakan buat kontinjen negara ketika ini. Sebaliknya, MOM berasa yakin bahawa menjelang Temasya XXIX bermula 8 Ogos ini, lebih banyak atlit Malaysia akan layak malah ia akan dapat mengatasi angka 26 yang berjaya menempah tiket ke Athens empat tahun lalu. Aziz Ready To Meet Elyas In Court KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Professional Golfers' Association (MPGA) vice president Aziz Ismail who lodged a report with the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) against Sports Commissioner Tan Sri Elyas Omar, is willing to be taken to court, if it benefitted MPGA and its members. "I stand by my action (going to the ACA) as it was done in the interest of the MPGA and the members. "If anybody wants to take me to court, I am willing to face them in court if that benefits the members," he told Bernama here day. On Monday, Aziz who refuted claims that he was expelled by MPGA, lodged the ACA report against Elyas for allegedly not taking any action against MPGA president Datuk Ithnin Yacob and secretary S.
