Lee Chong Wei with the mock cheque after beating Chan Kwong Beng 21-11, 21-19 in the Pahang Open final in Kuantan yesterday.

FAVOURITE Lee Chong Wei proved why he has remained unbeaten on the local circuit for six years as he captured the Pahang Open in convincing manner in Kuantan yesterday.

Chong Wei toyed around with back-up shuttler Chan Kwong Beng, playing in his first final of the local circuit, before securing a 21-11, 21-19 win in 30 minutes.

The only moment Kwong Beng had some momentum in the match was when he took a 6-2 and then a 18-16 lead but could not deny Chong Wei from running away with the title.

"Kwong Beng is a talented junior player, he played well especially in the second game but I think my experience on the international stage was an advantage," said Chong Wei. "Although I have maintained my unbeaten run on the local circuit, my priority has always been international tournaments, especially with the Singapore Open around the corner.

"The win is special as the home crowd was cheering for me and I hope to return here and win more titles."
Chong Wei will start as the favourite to win the Singapore Open crown on June 9-14 in the absence of his fierce rival Lin Dan of China.

In the men's doubles, Zakry Latif-Fairuzizuan Tazari ended their miserable run this year by winning the Pahang Open, beating veterans Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah 21-14, 12-21, 21-12.

In the women's singles final, second seedLydia Cheah beat last year's junior grand prix champion Sannatasah Saniru 21-15,21-13 in 26 minutes.

Never give your password to a stranger: Trust is a delicate thing that takes a long time to build but only second to destroy. You may meet a sexy girl in poker room and you are friends with him/her. He/she will keep interacting with you days before playing her trick. He can then have access to vital information that you access from your computer. Leaving your facebook poker account at risk of been hacked. If you never downloaded any of these programs then you’re probably safe, and if you have then you should run a spyware detection program. The best move will be for get your computer formatted to avoid any loop holes.

Phishing Links: This way of hacking has been thee for quite sometime now. Phishers send legitimate and official looking emails to your inbox. When you open them you are asked to click on the link and login in order to save your account or win free facebook poker chips, but in reality you are logging into a fake site that sends your information off to the hacker who made it. Before you find it out, its too late to react and they would have already broken into your account and emptied it of any facebook poker chips that you may have.

YouTube scams: If you do a search on youtube for facebook poker cheats, zynga poker hacks, or free facebook poker chips you’ll find hundreds of videos on the topic. More than 90% of them are made by idiots hoping to convince you to send them your account information. They range from slightly clever to completely moronic.

Image Photo Having Exe Embedded In it: This one is hard to catch. This is the latest fashion that is used by phisher, you will be asked to share family photo's. When you open their photo, that will innitiate an exe in the background which will steal all your information and send to the mastermind behin it. So be careful with whom you share photos.

Hope these tips help you saving your chips.

Malaysian junior athletes are just too ‘lembik’

Saya setuju. We are working on more coaches! “ @ManOlimpik : Malaysian junior athletes are just too ‘lembik’ http://t.co/7D7wmHWaNy ” — Khairy Jamaluddin (@Khairykj) June 10, 2014 The benchmark. Can our junior athletes train as hard as Malaysia's world No.1 badminton player, Lee Chong Wei? “IT IS okay lah. The training is not too bad lah. I will try lah … Wah, so hard lah today.” These are some of the common statements I hear from our juniors nowadays. It is not only in badminton. It is the easy-going, laid-back attitude and lack of competitiveness at grassroots level that we have problems producing quality players. I have travelled quite a bit. After ending my decade-long career with the national team, I went to play in the league in Europe. It’s different there. The European athletes know what they want. And they do it with real focus. Even the young ones possess admirable self-control and show a high level of commitment. During my time in the ...

Organising Major Sports Events Can Inspire Sports Culture Among The People - Khairy

PUTRAJAYA, June 5 (Bernama) -- Organising major sports events can help inspire sports culture among the people and ensure a healthy lifestyle said Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin. Khairy said the Tour of Malaysia cycling race organised since 1963, for example, can encourage more people to take the sport in a more competitive way or just for recreation purposes. "A study carried out by a world renown medical journal, The Lancet, revealed that 61 percent of adults in Malaysia do not engage themselves in active sports. "A study by the Health Ministry revealed that only 25 percent of Malaysians exercise," he said in his speech when launching the 2013 Tour of Malaysia (Jelajah Malaysia) at the Youth and Sports Ministry, here, Wednesday. "Cycling, though not as popular here as in countries like Denmark, the activity is becoming popular among the people as can be seen through an increase in sale of bicycles for recreation," he sa...
