1MF1T cari pemandu berpengalaman

SINGAPURA - Pasukan F1 1Malaysia (1MF1T) untuk musim 2010 berkemungkinan besar diketuai pemandu yang berpengalaman luas.

Kini, pencarian untuk seorang pemandu yang hebat masih berjalan.

Mungkin untuk tujuan tersebut, Pasukan Lotus F1 Team yang diketuai oleh ketua pasukan, Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes kini menghadiri F1 Grand Prix (GP) Singapura untuk mencari pemandu yang dihajati itu.

Pemandu seperti Kimi Raikkonen dari pasukan Ferrari dan bekas juara dunia, Fernando Alonso dari pasukan Renault, pemenang GP Singapura tahun lepas adalah antara nama yang disebut-sebut.

"Kami mahu membuktikan yang kami boleh bersaing dengan pendatang baru yang lain dalam F1.

"Tetapi selepas tiga hingga lima tahun, kami berharap untuk muncul antara yang terbaik," katanya.

Fernandes berkata, pihaknya mahu pemandu Malaysia tetapi selagi pemandu tempatan belum bersedia, peluang itu tidak akan diberikan kepadanya contohnya seperti Alex Yoong yang tidak begitu membuat impak.

Terdapat juga khabar angin bahawa Fairuz Fauzy, pemandu GP2 dan Jazeman Jaafar, juara Formula BMW Asia sedang dipertimbangkan sebagai pemandu kedua. - Bernama

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed.
