AFF Suzuki Cup: Training cancelled due to security fear

SECURITY concerns and Jakarta's chronic traffic jams combined to force the cancellation of Malaysia's official training session yesterday. Originally scheduled to train in the evening at the Senayan Sports Complex, the team's security detail decided on a late change of venue after Senayan was flooded by 40,000 Indonesian fans redeeming vouchers for match tickets.

When word got out of the Malaysian team's training session, hundreds made their way to the field, making the venue unsuitable for training.

But plans to train at another field in Leboh Bulos were aborted after the team bus got caught in gridlock, having travelled just one kilometre from the team hotel.
The team had a light workout by the hotel pool to complement the training session held in the morning.

    bayangkan kalau isu tue terjadi kepada pasukan mereka mesti media akan membesar-besarkan perkara tersebut...Sewaktu di Malaysia mereka belatih dengan aman..

Govt Always Gives Emphasis To Sporting Culture, Says PM

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed.
