Rio Ferdinand puji Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR - Kehebatan pasukan Harimau Malaya bukan sahaja mendapat pujian daripada pemimpin dan rakyat tempatan, malah ia turut medapat perhatian bintang Manchester United, Rio Ferdinand.

Dalam akaun laman Twitter milik pemain pertahanan kelab Red Devils itu, Ferdinand memuji permainan anak buah K. Rajagobal selain turut mengucapkan tahniah di atas kejayaan mereka bergelar juara Piala Suzuki AFF.

"Tahniah kepada pasukan Malaysia yang baru sahaja menumpaskan Indonesia pada perlawanan akhir Piala Suzuki AFF.

"Saya pernah bertemu dengan pasukan bawah 23 tahun Malaysia, 18 bulan lalu dan mereka terbukti merupakan sebuah pasukan yang mempunyai masa depan cerah," katanya dalam Twitter miliknya, semalam.

Ferdinand merupakan kapten pasukan Manchester United ketika pasukan itu mengadakan perlawanan persahabatan dengan skuad Harimau Muda, dua tahun lalu.
