Safee Tertajam di Piala AFF

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — Penyerang tim nasional Malaysia, Mohd Safee, menjadi pencetak gol terbanyak Piala AFF 2010 dengan koleksi lima gol. Gol terakhirnya dicetak ke gawang Indonesia pada laga final kedua yang berakhir 2-1 untuk Indonesia, Rabu (29/12/2010).

Safee mencatatkan namanya untuk kali pertama sebagai pencetak gol terbanyak dalam turnamen ini pada laga semifinal pertama melawan Vietnam, 15 Desember lalu. Tampil di Stadion Bukit Jalil, ia mencetak dua gol yang menentukan kemenangan Malaysia 2-0.

Safee sempat berpuasa mencetak gol pada laga semifinal kedua, yang berakhir 0-0, 19 Desember lalu. Ia kembali menunjukkan tajinya ketika melawan Indonesia pada laga final pertama, Minggu (26/12/2010). Di situ, ia mencetak dua gol yang ikut mengantar Malaysia menang 3-0.

Indonesia kembali menjadi lumbung gol Safee pada pertemuan kedua. Ia mencetak gol pada menit ke-54 yang membuat Malaysia unggul 1-0.

Indonesia berhasil menutup pertandingan dengan skor 2-1 berkat sepasang gol Muhammad Nasuha pada menit ke-73 dan Muhammad Ridwan pada menit ke-85. Sayang, sepasang gol itu tak cukup menjadikan Indonesia juara turnamen.
