SEPANG - Malaysia perlu memburu gol awal bagi memastikan keadaan lebih selesa dan tidak tertekan pada perlawanan timbal balik menentang Lebanon pada pusingan kedua Kelayakan Olimpik di Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil, esok.

Ketua pasukan, Khairul Fahmi Che Mat mahu semua rakan sepasukan mencari gol awal sekiranya ingin melayakkan diri ke pusingan ketiga saingan bola sepak Sukan Olimpik 2012.

Katanya, skuad negara di bawah bimbingan Ong Kim Swee sudah bersedia mengasak kubu lawan dan pertahankan gawang gol habis-habisan, selepas seri tanpa jaringan dengan Lebanon di Beirut, Ahad lalu.
"Saya dan rakan sepasukan bertekad mahu memburu kejayaan menentang Lebanon di gelanggang sendiri," katanya.

Skuad negara tiba dari Beirut di Lapangan Terbang Antabangsa Kuala Lumpur (KLIA), semalam.
Khairul Fahmi, yang juga penjaga gol berkata, mereka berharap tidak akan menghampakan semua penyokong negara dan layak ke pusingan ketiga nanti merupakan hadiah kepada seluruh rakyat Malaysia.
Beliau berharap semua peminat bola sepak tempatan akan membanjiri Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil bagi memberi semangat serta sokongan kepada skuad negara.

Perlawanan esok bermula pukul 8.45 malam.

Skuad Bawah 21 negara melangkah ke pusingan kedua kelayakan Sukan Olimpik selepas menewaskan Pakistan dengan agregat 2-0 pada Mac lalu. - Bernama

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed.
