MELAKA, Feb 25 (Bernama) -- Local ace Anuar Manan, riding for Hong Kong based Champion System, believes he can win a stage in the Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) with better team work and support from his team mates.
The rider who finished fourth in today's 151km stage (Stage 2) from Putrajaya to Dataran Pahlawan, Melaka said he could have even won the stage with better support from his fellow riders.
"I was disappointed for not winning the stage today. I had to work all by myself to stay with leader Andrea (Guardini) and during the sprint to the finish line.
The only consolation today for Anuar was finishing as the best Malaysian rider in the stage won by Italian rider Andrea Guardini from Team Farnese Vini-Selle Italia.
