KUALA LUMPUR, March 28 (Bernama) -- The Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) remain confident that more athletes will qualify for the 2012 London Olympic Games in August.
OCM President Tan Sri Tunku Imran Tuanku Ja'afar said apart from placing high hopes on world number one Datuk Lee Chong Wei to deliver the country's first ever gold medal in badminton, other athletes should also contribute medals during the world's biggest and most prestigious summer games.
"Although Chong Wei is the favourite to win a gold medal, we must not forget other athletes like our men's doubles pair Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong.
