Squash: Nicol, Nafiizwan, Beng Hee Move Into Quarterfinals

KUALA LUMPUR, March 28 (Bernama) -- World women's number one Datuk Nicol David opened her campaign for her eighth title at the CIMB Nicol David Kuala Lumpur Open Squash Championships by crushing qualifier, Donna Urquhart of Australia, at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil, here Wednesday night.

Besides Nicol, Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan and Ong Beng Hee also advanced to the last eight.

In the first round match, Nicol took only 35 minutes to beat her opponent in straight sets 11-5, 11-5 and 11-6.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
