KUALA LUMPUR, April 26 (Bernama) -- The Badminton Association Malaysia
(BAM) has appointed Rosman Razak as the new head coach of the national
women and mixed double squads, succeeding Indonesian Rexy Mainaky,
starting next month.
BAM honorary-secretary Ng Chin Chai said Rosman would be assisted by national mixed doubles coach, Jeremy Gan, when taking charge of 14 shutters under his care.
"We look internally, we look at seniority, ability, good service and we also get good feedback from the players. With all these elements we have decided to choose Rosman," he told reporters here Thursday.
Rexy had announced his resignation as badminton head coach of the national women's and mixed double squads and accepted an offer as coaching director of the Philippines Badminton Association for two years, beginning next month.
