KUALA TERENGGANU, Sept 25 (Bernama) -- The Terengganu Golf Association
(TGA) is intensifying efforts to groom professional golfers at its golf
academy which opened last month.
Its president, Ahmad Zubir Azhari said the academy has several junior players based at Kuala Terengganu Golf Resort (KTGR) in Kampung Tok Jembal, Gong Badak near here.
"The academy is open to male and female students between 7 to 16 years-old. I hope parents will send their children to join the academy in order to discover hidden talent," he told Bernama here Tuesday.
The academy managed by qualified and experienced golf coaches open on Fridays and Saturdays.
Twenty students have enrolled at the golf academy paying fees of only RM30 per month.
