Negeri Sembilan MB Wants Team To Make Malaysia Cup Final

SEREMBAN, Sept 25 (Bernama) -- Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan wants to see his team make the Malaysia Cup final to justify their status as defending champion.

"After qualifying for the quarterfinals, the target now is to continue the progress to the semifinal and final. This is also the hope of the Negeri Sembilan fans and supporters," he told reporters here Tuesday.

Negeri Sembilan under coach Mohd Azraai Khor Abdullah face Armed Forces (ATM), spearheaded by coach B. Sathianathan, in a first leg quarterfinal match at the Selayang Stadium on Friday.

The second leg will be held at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi on Oct 2 or 5.

Mohamad Hasan who is also the Negeri Sembilan FA President said he wants every player to work toward the objective.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed. FAM Disciplinary Committee chairman Datuk Taufik Abdul Razak said the committee had decided not to charge Rajagobal after carefully analysing the video of the post-match press conference by the 56-year-old coach.
