KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 22 (Bernama) -- The Football Association of Malaysia
(FAM) has lined up three international A level friendly matches to help
prepare the national squad for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 which starts on
Nov 23.
A statement from the FAM said the three matches lined up are against Vietnam at the My Dinh Stadium in Hanoi on Nov 3, against Thailand in Chiang Mai on Nov 7 and against Hong Kong at the Shah Alam Stadium on Nov 14.
The statement said 28 players have been called up for centralised training while the final selection would be held next month.
The 28 players were required to report for training under national head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal at Wisma FAM, Kelana Jaya, today while seven more players placed on standby, in the event that their services were required.
Players from Kelantan and the Armed Forces are required to report for training by 12 noon, Tuesday.
