KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 12 (Bernama) -- Former champions Singapore edged a
spirited Philippines side 1-0 in the AFF Suzuki Cup second leg semifinal
at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore Wednesday night to book a place
in the final.
Singapore advanced on a 1-0 aggregate score since both teams had played to a goalless draw in their first leg semifinal at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila on Dec 8.
Singapore now await the winner of the other semifinal between Malaysia and Thailand that will be played Thursday.
