KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 (Bernama) -- Malaysia's world no. 1 women's squash player Datuk Nicol David advanced to the semi-finals of the 2013 CIMB Kuala Lumpur Open Squash Championships after outclassing Jenny Duncalf of England at Berjaya Times Square here, Friday night.
It was an easy passage for the 29-year-old Nicol in her quarterfinals, winning the match in straight sets, 11-8, 11-7 and 11-2 in a 43-minute match.
"It seemed like an easy match but it was a very long match. She was playing the game well.
"I think I felt my rhythm a lot more in the middle of the second match and in the third as well," she said.
In tomorrow's semifinals, she will be meeting England's Laura Massaro who defeated Madeline Perry of Ireland, 11-2, 9-11, 11-4 and 11-5 in a match that lasted 53 minutes.
