Tujuh Atlet Terima Insentif Dari KPT

PUTRAJAYA, 21 Ogos (Bernama) -- Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi (KPT) menyampaikan insentif kepada tujuh atlet yang berjaya membawa balik pingat gangsa pada kejohanan Renang Dunia FINA ke-15 di Barcelona, Sepanyol dan Sukan Universiti Dunia (Universaide) di Kazan, Russia, baru-baru ini.

Insentif berjumlah RM17,500 itu disampaikan oleh Timbalan Perdana Menteri Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin merangkap Menteri Pendidikan pada Majlis Ramah Mesra Aidilfitri Kementerian Pendidikan di sini, Rabu.

Turut hadir pada majlis berkenaan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Ratu terjun negara, Pandelela Rinong dan Leong Mun Yee yang memenangi pingat gangsa dalam acara 10m platform seirama masing-masing menerima insentif sebanyak RM5,000.

Lima lagi pemain badminton masing-masing menerima insentif sebanyak RM1,500 ialah Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin, Chow Mei Kuan, Lee Meng Yean, Jagdish Singh dan Loh Wei Sheng.

Rajagobal Let Off The Hook

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- National head coach Datuk K. Rajagobal was let off the hook by the Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Disciplinary Committee after finding no evidence that he had violated FAM's Article 88, as claimed.
